3823 – "Hofbraeuhaus" stein. - This is a 11 1/4" lidded stoneware, raised-relief, figural decorated stein. The main subject of this stein is the world-famous Hofbraeuhaus in Muenchen. The stein is formed in the actual shape of this renowned beerhall, at the intersection of two cobblestone roads. The name “Hofbraeuhaus” and the “HB” symbol appear on the stein’s body, just as they appear on the actual building itself. The great attention to authenticity is further evidenced by such details as the arched windows and doorways, and the tiled roof. The stein has a beer barrel handle and pewter barrel thumblift. Mounted on top of the pewter lid is a handpainted pewter bierliesl (barmaid) figurine, made in England. As is the tradition, she is carrying 10 steins of beer! Individually numbered. Boxed.

6220 – London Commemorative Stein. With this 10 1/4" lidded stein, a new series of collector steins is launched, honoring “The Famous Cities of the World.” The three dimensional figural stoneware body of this inaugural first-edition piece is exceptionally detailed and entirely handpainted. Big Ben and The House of Parliament appear with great accuracy and prominence. A quartz clock has been inserted in the tower. Westminster Abbey is also present. London’s Tower Bridge is the stein Handle and we see the Thames River around the base. A miniature resin figurine of Windsor Castle is mounted on the pewter lid. Individually numbered and includes a full-color certificate of authenticity. Boxed.

6221 – New York City Commemorative stein. Winner of the 1998 Collector Editions Award of Excellence, this spectacular 12 3/4" lidded stein is the 2ND edition in the series honoring “The Famous Cities of the World.” A multitude of famous landmarks are accurately reproduced as a panorama: the Metropolitan Life Building (formerly the Pan-Am Building), the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, the CitiCorp Building, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Bridge. The Statue of Liberty is the handle. Her head, arm and torch are separately cast in fine pewter, and all serve as the thumblift. A handpainted miniature resin figurine of New York City, with the Statue of Liberty again present, is mounted on the pewter lid. Individually numbered and includes a full-color certificate of authenticity. Boxed.

LTPISA – Leaning Tower of Pisa lidded stein. This 10 1/4" lidded stein was made in Germany. The historic building captures everyone's attention. Official Name: TORRE PENDENTE DI PISA, Function: Bell Tower (Campanile), Original Architect: Bonanno Pisano. Architect who realized that the Leaning Tower could not be straightened:Tomasso di Andrea da Pontedera (1275) and the Years Built: 1173-1350. Individually numbered. Did not come boxed.

6245 – Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Stein. Probably the most famous lighthouse in the U.S., Cape Hatteras is located on Diamond Shoals on the outer banks of North Carolina. This area is often referred to as the graveyard of the Atlantic due to the loss of over, 2,200 ships in the area. The first light in the region was built in 1798 and replaced in 1870 after partial destruction during the Civil War. This light is also the tallest in the U.S., standing over 200 feet. The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse stein was inspired and authorized by Harbour Lights of La Mesa, California. It was sculpted in the three-densional design style, displaying a panoramic view of the lighthouse. Shoreline, waves, sun rays and clouds complete the body design. This 10 1/2" lidded stein is stoneware and entirely painted by hand. The polished pewter lid is adorned by a stoneware figurine depicting the top chamber of the house, and is highlighted with gold-leaf accents. Individually numbered. Boxed.
