CC87 - 1987 OUT FISHIN lidded stein. This 8 3/8" lidded 3-panel stein was made in West Germany by Gerz. Featured is the famous " Out Fishin " illustration. The high reliefed illustration, by Norman Rockwell, is bordered by a reliefed floral decoration with a bottle of Coca-Cola on both sides. The pewter lid has a minature pewter coke bottle for the thumblift. Individually numbered of 2000 on an attached metal plate underneath the stein. Generic box.PRICE: $125.00
4433 - 1992 THE CAN lidded stein. The world famous " Coca-Cola " script, in raised relief form, is the primary subject of this beer stein. The first capital C is the handle of the stein and then the remaining letters flow around the entire stein's circumference. The stein's body is in the shape of a modern can, increased in size to a 16 ounce minimum capacity so that a generous serving of " Coca-Cola " with ice can be enjoyed. The 6 1/2" stein is completed with a pewter can style lid and a pewter " Flip-Top " thumblift. A limited edition of 8000 pieces. Made in Germany by Gerz. Indivually numbered. 4434 - 1993 THE ANGLER lidded stein. Created by artist Newell Convers Wyeth, this 1937 Calendar Art has been reproduced on this 8 1/4" lidded beer stein. The barefooted boy, with two bottles of " Coca-Cola ", rolled up shirt sleeves, coveralls, hat and home made fishing pole, is walking through the fields and gently rolling hills on a sunny summer day. His dog accompanies him and shares in the excitement and anticipation as they both approach the nearby stream. A bold reminder to "Drink Coca-Cola" appears at the base of the scene. Handpainted with three dimensional raised relief form. Embossed pewter lid features the world famous " Coca-Cola " in Spencerian script. A miniature pewter contour bottle is the thumblift. 4435 - 1993 THE TOURING CAR lidded stein. This 7 1/2" lidded beer stein was made in Germany. The design was taken from a famous indoor poster that was produced for Coca Cola in 1924. The stein depicts fashionable people enjoying life and " Coca Cola ". The setting is a brisk autumn day. An elegantly dressed couple in an impressive vehicle stop and join a second couple on horseback for a drink that is "delicious and refreshing". A third stylish couple is in the foreground. Two " Drink Coca-Cola " signs complete the design. A raised relief stylized border frames the image. A matching relief pattern is found on the pewter lid. The trademark " Coca-Cola " in Spencerian script adorns the top of the lid and a minature pewter contour bottle with incised " Coca-Cola " serves as the thumblift. 4436 - 1994 HOME AGAIN lidded stein. This 7 1/2" lidded stein, released in 1994, was made in Germany by Gerz. The stein commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the end of World War II and the dynamic roles The Coca-Cola Company played during the war and in the peacetime prosperity that ensued worldwide. Three ads that reflected and promoted the attitudes and aspirations of the times, are featured here. On the left side, the daughter (or younger sister) of a serviceman wears his hat as she carries a tray with two bottles of Coca-Cola. The caption above her reads, " He's Home " and explains the elated expression on her face. In the center of the stein, an image by Haddon Sundblom depicts a happy soldier relaxing with a bottle of Coca-Cola at his side and enjoying the company of his mother and pet spaniel. The right side is a reproduction of of a 1944 advertisement, in which a reunited young couple enjoys Coca-Cola in bottles. A minature coke bottle is the thumbrest. 4437 - 1994 TRAVEL REFRESHED SANTA #1 lidded stein. In the 1920's, The Coca-Cola Company began to adopt Santa Claus as a salesman for the idea that " thirst knows no season " and thus, that wintertime is as good a time as summer for drinking " Coca-Cola ". This 1st lidded stein, portrays Haddon Sundblom's 1949 original oil on canvas creation entitled " Travel Refreshed ". This 8" lidded stein was made in Germany by Gerz. The pewter lid is adorned with a handpainted cold cast resin figurine of Santa in a moment of blissful refreshment. The stein is in the shape of the famous " Coca-Cola " bell glass. It is decorated with a raised relief " Sprite Boy " wearing a bottle cap and a raised relief handpainted team of reindeer. The trademark " Coca-Cola " in Spencerian script, prominently displayed opposite the handle, completes the decoration. A limited edition of 8000 pieces. Individually numbered. 4438 - 1994 THE PAUSE THAT REFRESHES SANTA #2 lidded stein. This 2nd lidded stein in the series is 8" tall and was made in Germany by Gerz. More of Haddon Sundblom's Santa artwork is portrayed on this stein. It was styled after the poster version of Sundblom's 1960 original oil painting. All four characters - the elf pouring a glass of Coca-Cola, Santa pausing in his chair, the bulgling elf and the drumming elf - have been recreated in hand painted full relief. The stoneware body is in the shape of the famous " Coca-Cola " bell glass. The pewter lid is adorned with a cold cast resin figurine of Santa in his chair, holding his glass while the elf pours a glass of his favorite refreshment. A limited edition of 8000 pieces. 4439 - 1995 SANTA ME TOO SANTA #3 lidded stein. This 3rd and last lidded stein in the " Coca-Cola " Santa artwork series, is 10 1/2" tall and was made in Germany by Gerz. Styled after artist Sundblom's 1936 annual original creation for the Coca-Cola Company. Santa, the train engine and tender, the doll and the toy duck are in raised relief and painted by hand. The Christmas tree, Santa's hand holding the contour bottle, the " Me too " title, the " Coca-Cola " trademark, the "Drink Coca-Cola" logo and the famous slogan "The pause that refreshes" have all been applied to the stein as permanently kiln fired transfer motifs. The body design has a green background glaze and a garland border decoration. Body is formed in the shape of the famous "Coca-Cola" bell glass. The pewter lid is adorned with a minature resin figurine of a cross-legged Santa with a toy train, duck and doll at his feet. A seperately cast minature contour bottle has been placed in Santa's hand. A limited edition of 8000 pieces. Individually numbered. 4440 - 1998 HOSPITALITY SANTA #4 lidded stein. This 10 1/8" lidded stein was made in Germany. The stein features Haddon Sundblom's 1948 famous rendition of Santa titled " Hospitality ". Santa is featured stopping during his rounds to enjoy a refreshing glass of Coca-Cola, dropping his bag of toys on a chair. This stein is the 4th in the series portraying the " Coca-Cola " Santa artwork. Santa's upper body forms the lid. A pewter contour bottle and " Coca-Cola " images are inserted into the garland handle on both sides. A seperately cast, precision molded miniature pewter bell glass has been placed in Santa's hand. 4441 - 1994 THE SODA FOUNTAIN lidded stein. Perhaps the best known print advertisement featuring a turn of the century soda fountain was the first introduced by The Coca-Cola Company in 1904. It featured five ladies, one gentleman and two small children, all elegantly dressed, being served glasses of Coca-Cola by the white coated attendant. The soda fountain itself was beautifully constructed in the Romanesque style, with pillars, arches, marble and masonry. The famous message " Drink Coca-Cola " appeared on the counter and again very prominently on the back wall in combination with " Delicious and Refreshing ". The soda fountain scene was then framed on both sides with " reason why " advertising. This 8 1/4" lidded stein, made in Brazil by Ceramarte, features this famous print ad. Full relief scrollwork appears on the top and bottom borders, as well as on the sculpted handle. Two tone cream and caramel glazing completes the body decoration. " Coca-Cola ",in raised lettering, is on top of the pewter lid and the fountain seat thumblift. Individually numbered with a postcard size color certificate of authenticity. Generic box.PRICE: $38.00

4444 - 1996 THE POLAR BEARS lidded stein. The Polar Bears were first introduced in 1993. Features the Coca-Cola Polar Bear with his twin cubs. While bringing home a Christmas tree, they stop to share and enjoy two bottles of " Coca-Cola ". The large Polar Bear can be seen holding a bottle of Coca-Cola. Near the base of the 8" beer stein is the world famous " Coca-Cola Bottle on Red Disk " icon, featuring the trademark " Coca-Cola " in Spencerian script. The top half of the Polar Bear is the lid. 4450 - 1998 HOSPITALITY SANTA STEIN #4 lidded stein. This stein is the same as 4440, however all pewter components have been gold plated.
