The 1st having the name of the stein in gold lettering on the front at the bottom and the lid has a ceramic insert with Elvis Presley 1935-1977, in gold lettering. The 2nd set of steins features the same design but does not have the gold lettering on the front at the bottom and the ceramic insert in the lid has the name of the stein, in gold lettering. *****

ELVIS1 - 1993 Elvis Presley " STILL THE KING " lidded stein. The 1st in the Elvis Presley " STILL THE KING " series of lidded steins. This 8 1/4" lidded stein's body was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. The lid was made in West Germany. Features Elvis as portrayed on the 29 cent US Postage Stamp that was issued to comemmorate him. "Still The King" in gold lettering on the front, at the bottom. The ceramic insert in the lid has Elvis Presley 1935-1977, in gold lettering. Thumblift is in the shape of a teddy bear. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Generic box.$58.00
In 1992, the American public voted on a matter of vital national importance: young Elvis or old Elvis?
Allowing the public to select the artwork for the Elvis Presley stamp was an unprecedented move by the U.S. Postal Service. The choice was between two equally superb but thematically distinct portraits: a watercolor of the youthful Elvis by Mark Stutzman, or a more mature Elvis painted by John Berkey.
Pre-addressed ballots were distributed in post offices around the country and in the April 13, 1992, edition of People magazine. America spoke, returning nearly 1.2 million ballots to the Postal Service, and the choice was clear: More than 75 percent of voters preferred young Elvis. The stamp was dedicated at Graceland just a few moments after midnight on January 8, 1993�Elvis�s 58th birthday.

Ceramic insert in lid has Still the King, at top with Elvis Presley, below. 1935 and 1977 with TCB and a lightning bolt, in the middle. All in gold lettering. ELVISBDAY - 1994 Elvis Presley " BIRTHDAY " lidded stein. This 7 1/4 " lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Features a younger looking Elvis in front. Each side has him singing and a teddy bear, SIDA A, Elvis Presley (1935 - 1977), "Still The King" and a ROCK AND ROLL logo, also appear from side to side. The ceramic insert in the lid has musical notes top and bottom with Elvis Presley, in script, and 1935 - 1977. All in gold lettering. Limited edition of 5,000 Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Generic box. Bottom gold band has very minute skipping in the gold on the left side.OUT

EPSIL68 - 1993 Elvis Presley " 1968 COMEBACK SPECIAL " lidded stein. This 10 1/4" lidded stein's body was made in China. The stein honors his December 3, 1968 concert. Features Elvis in his infamous black leather oufit. A minature figurine of Elvis, sits atop the lid. Microphone has a wire that leads down and across the platform he's on. He's surrounded by different colored spot lights. Comeback Special Silver Anniversary 1968 - 1993, surrounds the platform in raised black lettering. Limited edition of 1,968 Individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticty. Generic box.OUT
EPLOE - 1993 Elvis Presley " LIFE OF ELVIS " Deluxe Edition lidded stein. This large 10 1/4" lidded stein's body was made in China. Features Elvis Presley in a collage of pictures showing his look over the years. In gold lettering, TCB with a lightning bolt, at top middle, and Life of Elvis, below. Raised beading around the top, base and both sides of the handle. A minature figurine of Elvis sits atop the lid. He is standing on what appears to be plank flooring. Dressed in a white tux jacket with black pants, he is holding his guitar. The thumblift is in the shape of a teddy bear. Limited edition of 1,977 Individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticty. Generic box.OUT
EPASDE - 1994 Elvis Presley " ALOHA SPECIAL " Deluxe Edition lidded stein. This large 10 1/8" lidded stein's body was made in Germany. Features Elvis in his Aloha outfit, on front and right, and the words ELVIS, in a dark yellow and dark red outline and Aloha From Hawaii, in gold lettering, on the left. A minature figurine of Elvis, sits atop the lid. He is dressed in his Aloha outfit, with some of the flowers from around his neck, scattered on the platform below. A wire runs down from the microphone. The detail of the figurine is impressive, considering both sides. Probably the best part of the stein. Limited edition of 1,973. Individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Generic box.OUT
