5001 - BUGS BUNNY STEIN - 1st - 9 1/2"
-------------- Bugs is in a relaxed pose, leaning against a film projector as he munches on a carrot and watches some of his favorite motion pictures and animated shorts, ie; the ones in which he is the star, of course. The projector rests upon a stack of film canisters. Another film can is leaning up against the stack, revealing it's "Looney Tunes" title. Behind the projector is a huge overflowing bag of Bug's fan mail. To the left of Bugs is a crate and a basket, full of fresh carrots from the ACME Produce Company. The base of the stein features the official Bugs Bunny signature logo. The thumblift is in the shape of a bunch of carrots. Made in Germany, this lidded porcelain stein is hand painted. 5002 - TASMANIAN DEVIL STEIN - 2nd - 9 1/2"
-------------- The stein depicts Taz in his classic high energy pose, with a four alarm appetite. His mouth is wide open and his tongue is pushed aside as he prepares to devour everything in his path. A tornado has formed beneath him, in which a variety of foreign objects and remnants of past meals are seen. A dust cloud is behind the tornado. Taz's name is in raised relief on both sides of the stein, near the base. The thumblift is pewter and is formed in the shape of the famous Looney Tunes logo. 5003 - YOSEMITE SAM STEIN - 3rd - 9 1/2"
-------------- This stein presents Yosemite Sam in a hootin' hollerin pose. Gold coins pour out of money bags and a treasure chest on either side of him. He's leaping in the air, with his six guns blazing. Is he celebrating his new found wealth or has he backed up against the needles of the huge saguaro cactus behind him? Below Yosemite Sam is an old and weathered "wood" board, in which the star's name has beed carved. The pewter thumblift is formed in the shape of the famous Looney Tunes logo. 5004 - ROAD RUNNER & WILE E. COYOTE STEIN - 4th - 9 1/2"
--------------Beep! Beep! The Roadrunner speeds down a winding highway. In an attempt to create a diversion, Wile E. Coyote paints a train and tunnel on the mountainside. Wile E. Coyote's hope is that the Road Runner will stop long enough to allow Wile E. to employ his arsenal of ACME tricks and traps. But the outcome, although not yet official, can be predicted from the relaxed and confident expression on the Road Runner's face. Made in Germany, this lidded porcelain stein is hand painted. 5005 - TWEETY BIRD & SYLVESTER the CAT STEIN - 5th - 10"
-------------- This stein depicts Sylvester wrapped around the bird cage with an over confident look on his face. He holds the key to the " ACME " lock on the cage door. Little does he know that Tweety has long since vacated the cage and sits innocently on top of the cage, ready to use the ever present mallet. We see these two just moments before Tweety rings Sylvester's bell. Made in Germany, this lidded porcelain stein is hand painted. Individually numbered. Generic box. (Discontinued)OUT
5006 - EMLER FUDD & DAFFY DUCK with BUGS STEIN - 6th - 10"
--------------" Be ve-wy ve-wy quiet ", Elmer Fudd seems to say. Elmer Fudd is basically a lovable guy who has the misfortune to think he's a hunter. Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck know better and when put to the test, Elmer is fair game for that " wascally wabbit " and that " despicable duck ". The stein captures Elmer in a classic pose during hunting season. He is seen peering through the bushes blasting away at Daffy while Daffy tries to convince Elmer that it is rabbit season and not duck season. Bugs tries to convince Elmer that it is duck season and not rabbit season. As always, Bugs Bunny escapes unscathed. Made in Germany, this lidded porcelain stein is hand painted. 5007 - PEPE LE PEW & PENELOPE STEIN - 7th - 10"
--------------Ooh la la! L'amour! First appearing in " Odor-Able Kitty " in 1945, Pepe's cartoons were flavored with hilarious phrases of pidgin French. The consummate French lover, Pepe combines the suavity of Charles Boyer with the boyish charm of Maurice Chevalier and brings the art of love to new heights. Like all great lovers, the flames of Pepe's passions are only fanned higher by any resistance to his charms. And no one resists more than poor Penelope. While Pepe is instantly smitten by Cupid's arrow, Penelope believes their love can never be. But Pepe knows that love is blind and scentless. He cheerfully overlooks the fact that Penelope is just a cat. The scene portrayed by Pepe Le Pew & Penelope is of Pepe showering Penelope with gifts and flowers as an attempt to win her affection. Penelope, with perfume bottle in hand, shows a skillful degree of both resistance and allure. Is it any wonder that Pepe so valiantly tries to win her affection? Both characters are well dressed, Pepe in tuxedo and Penelope in pearls. Pepe's tail forms the handle of the stein. Made in Germany, this 10" lidded porcelain stein is hand painted. 5010 - 1999 LOONEY TUNES COAT of ARMS STEIN - 10 1/2" lidded stein.
--------------Nine seperate Coats of Arms appear on this stein and each one showcases one particular Looney Tunes character: His Highness Bugs Bunny, Ye Olde Yosemite Sam, Road Runner the Swift, Wile E. Coyote the Crafty, Tweety the Lionhearted, Sylvester the Jester, Duke Daffy the Duck, Friar Porky the Pig and Taz the Terrible. Every shield is in raised relief and entirely handpainted. The pewter lid is adorned with a resin cast king's crown and sitting on top of the crown is a pewterized Bugs Bunny with crown and robe. The thumblift is a pewter carrot. LONGTON CROWN"S 24 CARROT CLASSICS

97801 - 1997 " BILL OF HARE - 1962 " Looney Tunes lidded stein. It seems this was the 1st and last in the 24 Carrot Classics stein collection. This 8 1/4" tall lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. America's favorite "wascally wabbit," Bugs Bunny, takes on his ravenous rival the Tasmanian Devil on this stein that celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Bugs Bunny's cartoon debut. Specially commissioned original animation cel art of a classic cartoon scene (one of only 3 cartoons that featured Bugs and Taz together) was created by Warner Bros. artists for reproduction on this fine stein. The scene was from the 1962 Merrie Melodies cartoon short "Bill of Hare". Issued in the 35th anniversary year of its theatrical release. Bugs Bunny is doing his best to avoid becoming the main course for the wild and crazy Taz, who has just escaped from captivity and is (as always) ravenous. Bugs welcomes Taz to "Petruchka's Shish-kabob Emporium" Restaurant and serves up a scrumptious stick of dynamite - with explosive results. A sculpted 3-D Bugs strikes a juanty pose on the carrot design handle and his handsome face tops the pewter lid with the familiar Looney Tunes logo on the thumbrest. Underneath the lid are raised lettering for "That's all Folks". The stein is surrounded by engravings of all your favorite Looney Tunes characters including Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, Elmer Fudd, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Roadrunner, Wiley Coyote, Bugs and Taz.
