DNY5 - 1993 MICKEY MOUSE lidded stein. This 9 1/2" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. The 2nd in the Disney Character Tankard series. Gift Boxed. OUT
DNY6 - 1994 GOOFY lidded stein. The 3rd and last in the Disney Character Tankard series. This 9 1/2" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Gift Boxed.$325.00
DISGRUM - 2014 GRUMPY Character lidded stein. This large & heavy 10 1/2" lidded stein was made in Germany for the Disney Parks. Features Grumpy with a thumbs down look after be asked whether he knows German. One of Snow White's seven dwarfs, he seems to be taking a break from working too. The handle is in the shape of a pick axe, which he must have used to obtain the overflowing large bag of jewels seen to his left. A lantern is seen to his left. Around the bottom of the stein are the words: " I know a little German " " Ich kann ein bisschen Deutsch ". Individually numbered. This one is numbered 324 of a limited edition of 2500. DISNEYANA CONVENTION STEINS
DNY1 ----- 1992 Disneyana Convention stein. This 6 5/8" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte and comes with a beautiful blue colored gift box. Stein was issued for the 1ST Disneyana Convention that was held at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida from September 24 - 27, 1992. Issued in a limited edition of 3000. Same stein as Mickey Through The Years, but the wording along the bottom and top is in BLUE and the words " 1ST DISNEYANA CONVENTION 1992 are at the top.$75.00
DNY2 ----- 1993 Disneyana Convention stein. This 6 5/8" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte and comes in a beautiful red colored gift box. Stein was issued for the 2ND Disneyana Convention that was held at the Disneyland Hotel in California from September 16 - 19, 1993. Issued in a limited edition of 3000. Same stein as Mickey Through The Years, but the wording along the bottom is in a light shade of ORANGE and the words "OFFICIAL DISNEYANA CONVENTION 1993 are in RED at the top.$48.00
THEME PARK STEINS
DNY3 ----- " MICKEY THROUGH THE YEARS " stein. This 6 5/8" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Issued at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Shows Mickey from early Steamboat days to present Mickey. Did not come boxed.OUT
DNY7 ----- " WALT DISNEY WORLD " stein. This 6 5/8" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Issued at Walt Disney World in Florida. Shows same characters as Disneyland stein, some in different places. Also Cinderella's castle and different buildings are shown. " WALT DISNEY WORLD " in RED around the base of the stein. Did not come boxed.$28.00
DNY7A ----- " WALT DISNEY WORLD " / " MAGIC KINGDOM " stein. This 6 3/4" stein was made in Thailand. Alot thicker and heavier than the Ceramarte version. Issued at Walt Disney World in Florida. Shows Mickey & Minnie, with other characters around the stein. Also Cinderella's castle and buildings are shown. "WALT DISNEY WORLD" in BLUE around the base of the stein and "MAGIC KINGDOM" done in yellow outlined dark blue lettering. Did not come boxed.$32.00
DNY8 ----- " DISNEYLAND " stein. This 6 5/8" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Issued at Disneyland in California. Shows Mickey Mouse, family, Donald Duck, Goofy and others. Depicts Cinderella's castle and other landmark buildings. "DISNEYLAND" in RED around the base of the stein. Did not come boxed.
DNY9 ----- " DISNEY CRUISE LINE " stein. This 6 3/4" stein was made in Thailand. Features Mickey Mouse as Steamboat Willie, Brave Little Tailor, then there are 3 different Mickeys in Captains outfits. All Mickey figures are in raised relief. Disney Cruise Line logo at top and Disney Cruise Line, in red and blue lettering below. Did not come boxed.$38.00
DNY10 ----- 2005 " DISNEYLAND 50th ANNIVERSARY " lidded stein. This 9 3/4" lidded stein was made in China. This very unusual and heavy stein's body and handle are made of a very thick resin with a very heavy metal lid on top, that can swivel back and forth to allow the inside of the lid to fit into the stein. Featured in very detailed raised relief, is the Disneyland Resort entrance, in front, with atractions on both sides. The pewter metal lid is fashioned after a compass with directions indicated on top ie: N, S, E & W. The castle sits atop in the middle and the thumrest has Tinker Bell holding on. Raised gold lettering, on a felt bottom, with Disneyland's logo and the words, Celebrating 50 Years of Magical Memories. Limited Edition of 500. Comes with a certificate of authenticty. Comes boxed in a styrofoam fitted box with a cardboard cover.OUT
DNY11 ----- 2006 " WALT DISNEY WORLD 35th ANNIVERSARY " lidded stein. This 13" tall by 4" wide, at the middle of the handle, lidded stein was made in Germany by WW Team GmbH. This brilliant full bodied scene features classic characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Cinderella riding in the Main Street trolley. The architectural imagery of Disney is highlighted too, on this stein. The sculpted lid features a turret from the Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort, and compliments the colorful collage artwork. The body of the stein is smooth, black and blue glazed, high quality stoneware decorated with a wraparound gold banded decal. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Limited Edition of 500. Did not come boxed, but wrapped well in paper. (Quite unusual for such a low limited edition. Probably because of the low #, could not get a decent price for a specially formed styrofoam box to fit the stein. Economies of scale, no doubt, however most steins from Germany do not come boxed like the American counterparts)OUT
OTHER DISNEY STEINS
DNY60 ----- Late 1950's or Early 1960's " DISNEYLAND " stein. This 5 1/4" stein was made in Germany. Features, in raised relief, the Disneyland Castle, on front, with various recessed symbols of the theme park, on either side. Cobalt blue background. Did not come boxed. Excellent shape with no chips, cracks or hairlines.OUT
