SCH87 - 1987 stein. This 5 1/8" stein was made in the USA by Sandhurst pottery in New Ulm, MN. for the August Schell Brewery. The exceptional blue earthen glaze over this stein, reveals, in raised relief, a man playing for the Hobo Band Schell Beer, with August Schell Brewing Co. New Ulm Minn. and Since 1948. Sandhurst New Ulm. MN Stoneware in raised lettering on the bottom. Not numbered. Only 400 were made. No two steins will be alike as the glaze will have varying degrees of shading. Did not come boxed.

SCH88 - 1988 Schell Brewery stein. This 5 3/4" stein was made in the USA by Sandhurst pottery in New Ulm, MN. for the August Schell Brewery. The exceptional blue earthen glaze over this stein, reveals, in raised relief, a horse drawn wagon full of barrels of beer, with August Schell Brewing Co. New Ulm Minn. and 1860 - 1988. Sandhurst New Ulm. MN Stoneware in raised lettering on the bottom and individually numbered, with the number incised into the bottom. Only 400 were made. No two steins will be alike as the glaze will have varying degrees of shading. Did not come boxed.OUT
