This 11" hand painted porcelain lidded stein was made in Germany by Albert Stahl. 15th edition in the “Man’s Best Friend” series of Dog steins and the 7th in the Bulldog Character stein series. The Bulldog is adorned with the attire of a barrister complete with wig, glasses, robe and gavel. He is holding a book on "CONTRACTS" and at the base of the stein is a book on "TORTS" and a scale. Features a cigar smoking bulldog in a nostalgic football uniform. He is wearing a #7 red Bulldog's jersey and football pants. 6661 - DEALER BULLDOG STEIN (8TH in a series) (3rd in the Bulldog series) This 10" handpainted lidded porcelain stein was made in Germany by Albert Stahl. The Bulldog is impeccably dressed as a card dealer with a collar shirt & vest, bow tie, garter on his sleeve, visor and glasses. In front of him is a table full of cards, chips, bottle and a glass. 6662 - GERMAN DACHSHUND STEIN (10TH in a series) This 10" porcelain handpainted lidded stein was made in Germany by Albert Stahl. A Bavarian theme is the setting in which a Dachshund is dressed in lederhosen and suspenders with hat and knapsack. He is seen outdoors in the Black Forest grilling a string of wieners and is smearing mustard onto them. In the foreground is a full stein of beer, a crock of mustard and pretzels. Behind the Dachshund is a jar of sauerkraut, onions and ketchup. The handle is the shape of a Black Forest evergreen tree. Individually numbered. Plain box.

This porcelain handpainted stein with lid was made in Germany by Albert Stahl. The stein pays tribute to the entire family of beagles and hunting hounds. The dog is dressed for the hunt, wearing a rider's hat, red hunter's coat, white pants and black ridind boots. In his hand is a gold bugle. Cigar smoking Bulldog wearing a shirt decorated with parrots, palm trees and a variety of flowers. He's smoking a Churchill-size cigar while guarding a stack of his master's full cigar boxes.
