CS 319 - 1997 Pheasant lidded stein. This 8 1/2" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Part of Budweiser's Upland Game Bird series of steins. Naturalist artist, Pat Ford, showcases the pheasant, commonly known as the ring-necked pheasant due to the distinctive white ring found around the neck of the male. The male and female are shown in their natural habitat. Surrounding the central artwork, are other upland game birds in relief. The rising pewter lid is engraved with a detailed acorn and oak leaf design. A pewter acorn forms the thumbrest. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Gift boxed.
