98141 - "The Eagle Has Landed" - America's proudest achievement in space exploration occurred on July 20, 1969, when men first set foot on the moon. Now the historic Apollo XI mission is honored in a richly detailed ceramic and pewter stein. This 8 1/2" stein, made in Brazil by Ceramarte, features inspiring images of the earth and moon, an Apollo astronaut,the LEM landing craft and Old Glory. On the handle, a scupltured astronaut descends the LEM's ladder to the moon's dusty surface. Raised relief details include a replica of the Saturn rocket and the Apollo spacecraft, the NASA logo - even lunar footprints. Facts and statistics about the historic Apollo XI mission are featured on the back of the stein. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Made in Brazil by Ceramarte for Longton Crown. Boxed.
SWCUI - "Star Wars" - Issued in 1998, this 9 1/4" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. An exclusive issue for Avon, this stein commemorates the anniversary of the original trilogy movies during the 1997 Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition release. Features artwork of Drew Struzan. The stoneware body features highly detailed, scuplted images of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in a lightsaber battle on Cloud City. The unique handle is a recreation of Luke's new lightsaber that he made himself and along the bottom of the stein is the famous light pattern found in the carbon-freeze chamber where Luke was to be trapped and frozen by Vader. The lid and thumblift are solid pewter with embossed detail of the Star Wars logo. The colored artwork reproduces the Star Wars Special Edition movie poster. It depicts Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Han Solo against a stunning starfield backdrop complete with Rebel X-wing and Y-wing fighters. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Gift boxed.

M 90 - 1990 "1st Man on the Moon" stein. This 7" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. The 5th and last in Miller Brewing Company's series of 5 steins commemorating great achievements. Featured is the 1st Man on the Moon. Depicted in raised relief is the space ship taking off, Astronauts with the lunar lander and the rescue at sea after the capsule splashed down. "One Small Step For Man, One Giant Leap For Mankind" Individually numbered. Did not come boxed.
