YB160 - 1989 Yuengling Brewery 160th Anniversary lidded stein. This 9 3/4" lidded stein was made in W. Germany by Gerz. GMBH. The stein is of a baroque style typified by the elaborate and ornate scrolls, curves, and symmetrical ornamentation that adorns the body of the stein. The hand-painted body features a colorful re-creation of a historical Yuengling advertisment poster (circa 1898) depicting a tavern regular content with his glass of one of the assorted fine brews produced by Yuengling. Mounted on the pewter lid is the ceramic figure of the "Yuengling Eagle" trademark. The stoneware hand-painted figurine of the eagle perched on a beer keg of Yuengling's finest brew has been custom designed by Gerz stein master Edwin Breiden. Encircling the base of the figure is Yuengling's proud declaration" "America's Oldest Brewery - 160th Anniversay." Facsimile signature of Dick Yuengling, Jr., Fifth Generation President, on the bottom. Limited edition of 1000. Individually numbered with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. Rows of bricks border top and bottom and down both sides of the handle. Limited edition of 1500. Collectible 1999, spelled Collectinle 1999, on the bottom. Boxed.

In cameos to the right are pictured the Fermenting Room and the Elevator. To the left are pictured the Kettle and the Mash Tub. A minature "Yuengling Trademark" pewter Eagle sits atop the lid.
