3935 – Archangel Michael lidded stein. This is 10 3/4" stoneware, raised-relief lidded stein. A pewter relief three-panel mural of Seraphim angels wraps around the entire stein’s black glazed stoneware body. Three separately cast pewter angel heads with gold-leaf wings are applied along the stein’s flared base. On top of the ornate pewter lid is a pewter figurine of Michael the Archangel in full armor with gold highlighted wings, sword and shield. Handpainted gold-leaf bands complete the body decoration. Made by Thewalt in Germany. Individually numbered. Boxed.

This 17" antique reproduction lidded stein, features the Lord’s Prayer in German, in raised-relief text that decorates the entire exterior surface of the stoneware stein. Gold-leaf accents.
