CS679 - 2007 " 2008 St. Pat's Day Accordion " lidded stein. This 8 1/4" lidded stein was made in China by BRAX Ltd. The 17th in Budweiser's St. Patrick's Day series of steins. Designed by Angel Santiago, the stein is in the shape of a concertina, which is an accordion like musical instrument that was invented in the 1830's. Closely associated with the musical traditions of the Emerald Isle, the stein is a fitting tribute to the instrument's cultural heritage. The lid resembles the button end of the instrument, complete with a leather thumb hold. The base is adorned with a raised relief Budweiser ® logo and raised relief shamrocks. The top features a famous Irish toast, "Fill your heart with gladness, that stays forever after. May the sound of happy music, and the Lilt of Irish laughter", as well as the native Gaelic word for " cheers " or " to your health " - slainte! Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Gift boxed.OUT
CS 690 - 2008 " Yankee Stadium " lidded stein. This 9 1/2" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Artist John Rivoli created this stein to celebrate the unique characteristics of the stadium. Yankee Stadium, a tradition that spans more than 8 decades, was basically christened the day Babe Ruth hit a 3 run homer, in the inaugural game (April 18, 1923,) against the Boston Red Sox. Thus it's nickname: "The House That Ruth Built". Stein features include the building's distinctive facade, blue & white tiles preserved during the stadium's 1976 modernization, dates encircle the base of the stein, commemorating each of the Yankees 26 World Series Championship titles and a banner at the top of the stein that proudly proclaims: "Courage, Tradition, Heart". The pewter lid features a ceramic inlay with The New York Yankees logo. NY initials adorn the pewter thumbrest. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Gift box. CS 691 - 2008 " Waterford Crystal Clydesdales Hitch " stein. The 3rd and last in Anheuser-Busch's Waterford Crystal steins. This 8 1/4" stein celebrates Budweiser's original six-horse Budweiser Clydesdale Hitch from 1933. Has Waterford and Anheuser-Busch's lettering on the bottom. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Boxed. Limited edition of 1000.$179.00
CS 692 - 2008 " 2009 St. Pat's Day " stein. This 7" stein was made in China by BRAX Ltd. The 18th in Budweiser's St. Parick's Day series of steins. The stein features a leprechaun playing a harp. Ireland's colors of green, white and orange, are in the background. In relief, a Celtic illustration, is featured on both sides of the stein. Budweiser's Bowtie at the bottom with dancing leprechaun drinking beer, as if to say "Erin Go Braugh!" Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Gift boxed.$35.00
CS695 - 2008 " 75 Years of Proud Tradition Holiday " stein. This 7" Holiday stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Artist Lonnie Busch features the coming together what started as a tradition in 1933 to commemorate the repeal of prohibition, Adolphus Busch III and August A. Busch, Jr presented their father with a six horse Clydesdale hitch pulling a red Budweiser ® beer wagon, lives on today. To the left is a black and white illustration of the Capital with the team and wagon in front. To the right is the full color version of the team and wagon in front of the brewery. 75th Anniversary 1933 - 2008 Clydesdales Anniversary logo down in front. In support of the Conservation Fund, Anheuser-Busch ® issued this stein. It's mission is to work with purpose and passion on behalf of wildlife and habitats worldwide, encouraging sustainable solutions through support of species research, animal rescue and rehabilitation and conservation education. Objective is to inspire millions of people to CARE and CONSERVE. Animals from both parks are featured on the stein.
