CS451 - 2000 " HISTORICAL SLOGANS " lidded stein #2. The 2nd in a series for Coca-Cola ®. This 9 1/2" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Stein features three slogans and artwork of the Coca-Cola ® Company published in the past 100 years, beginning with the early 1900's. Each of the 3 depictions on the stein are in the shape of a Coca-Cola ® bell soda glass. The pewter lid is topped with a pewter figurine replica of a case of Coca-Cola ®. Bald Eagle Series " Fall lidded stein. This 4th and final edition " FALL ", by artist Bud Kemper, features the noble bald eagle perched on a rock, ready to take flight. The dramatic full color illustration, which wraps around the entire body of the stein, presents the bald eagle against a backdrop of majestic mountains, evergreen trees, and rich fall foliage. The stein is crowned with a pewter lid featuring a ceramic inlay with a detailed rendering of an eagle's head. The thumbrest is in the shape of a " fan " of eagle feathers, and the handle features a feather illustration on each side. This 7 1/4" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. This 8" lidded stein features the German Shepherd dog, best known for its fearlessness, courage and loyalty. Below and above the montage are flags of competing countries, all on a base with the words " American Olympic Team 2000 " and the Olympic logo in ceramic relief. The handle is reminiscent of the columns of ancient Greece. The pewter lid is engraved with a laurel wreath and topped with an engraved medallion of the Olympic Rings. CS463 Columbia 1893 lidded stein. This 10 ½ " lidded stein was made in China by Tradex GmbH. The 1st of two steins in the St. Louis Brew House 1893 Mosaics series of steins. Stein depicts some of the most breathtaking, original appointments of the St. Louis Brew House. Columbia depicts the feminine representation for America. The background scene encompasses a variety of historical and geographical elements of the nation, including a bust of Christopher Columbus, the Capitol building, a bountiful horn of plenty and sheaves of wheat symbolizing the abundant richness of the land. Also depicted are New York harbor with the newly built Brooklyn Bridge, a steamboat, the American flag and a scroll of the Emancipation Proclamation with broken slave chains symbolizing Lincoln's great act of ending slavery. This illustration is presented in a cobalt blue tinted mosaic frame, surrounded on either side by ornamental architectural designs and an A&Eagle ®. CS486 - 2001 " 1969 Chevrolet Camaro " stein. This 8 1/4" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. The 1st in a series depicting "Muscle Cars" from the 1960's and 1970's. The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 was truly one of the automotive classics that delivered speed and power. With a 396 cubic inch engine and up to 375 horsepower, this car was built for speed. Every detail has been captured, from the front fender and door stripes, to the classic paint known as "Hugger Orange" - a color reportedly named for the Camaro's ability to "hug" the road around turns. The stein comes with a hand sewn, leather wrapped handle, representing the popular leather covered steering wheel on many of the classic muscle cars. At the top of the handle is a tachometer.
